About CRC Pest Control

A father-and-son business, run from Hockwold.

Chris Clarke started CRC Pest Control after more than ten years learning the trade at another company. Going it alone was a slow start — three small contracts, and advertising that led nowhere. The turn came with moles: word got round the villages, and Chris became known locally as "the Mole Man." Most of the work since has come the same way — one farm, one yard, one neighbour telling another.

"Our success comes from talking to customers and really understanding what the problem is and the best way to solve it."
— Chris Clarke, founder

When Chris’s son, Tyler, joined the business at sixteen, he brought the exact same drive that started it all. Running a father-and-son operation has always been the dream, but building a legacy for the next generation is what keeps the work honest. We don't take shortcuts, and we don't vanish the moment the invoice is paid.

Every treatment is still carried out to product label, within wildlife law, and with a straight answer on price before we start.

Fast. Discreet. Humane.

Three rules the job runs on, whoever turns up:

  • Finish. The. Job. One visit where we can, and we don't leave a job half-solved.
  • No. Cut. Corners. Product label and wildlife law, every time — not just when it's convenient.
  • Close. To. Home. Suffolk and Norfolk, worked by people who live here too.
