Fox Vulpes vulpes

Foxes are common across every town we cover, but the damage they cause varies with the setting — dug-up lawns and raided bins in town gardens, torn fencing and poultry losses on smallholdings and farms around Bury St Edmunds, Ely and Newmarket. A den close to housing or livestock rarely resolves itself on its own.

Proofing the run matters more than moving on the fox that found it, so we focus on finding and closing the actual point of entry — secure housing, buried mesh skirting and blocked-off gaps under outbuildings — rather than a one-off scare that just shifts the problem next door.
